Our “Welcome to the Redwoods” hike features a small waterfall, lots of really tall Redwoods, and lichen-draped Big Leaf Maples. This tour includes 3+ miles of breathtaking scenery, winding through a prehistoric landscape, and is reminiscent of the time of the dinosaurs. The intermediate-level hike includes some elevation gain, making it a mildly strenuous experience. The terrain consists of forest trails, gravel roads, creeks, and meadows. Although this hike is beautiful year-round, the best time to sign up would be in the spring and early summer, for the abundant wildflowers, or in early autumn for the berries!

Our area can sometimes be a dynamic and unpredictable environment. All programs are dependent upon specific weather conditions and may need to be rescheduled or canceled due to these factors. Pacific Outfitters reserves the right to make any changes to the scheduling of a class or program. In order to keep our programs affordable, a minimum number of participants may be required. If we are unable to fill a program to a minimum level of participation, we reserve the right to cancel the program. A full refund will be provided in the event of a canceled or rescheduled activity (upon request for a rescheduled event). Please let us know of any changes in your schedule as well. We ask for at least a 48-hour notice for any cancellations or changes in your reservation.
